Elizabeth Valentine, MA, LMHCA
Elizabeth believes that counseling is far more than just a profession; it is a core part of who she is. Her passion for mental health care was born out of her own human experience, finding profound healing and growth within both the church and the counseling office. Deeply grateful for the saving grace of Jesus and the guidance of incredible mentors, Elizabeth is dedicated to paying that support forward. Her goal is to build a rock-solid foundation of trust with her clients, walking alongside them, holding space for their stories, and listening with deep, active empathy.
Viewing wellness as a multifaceted journey of mind, body, and spirit, Elizabeth utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to each individual's unique needs. In her practice, she focuses heavily on establishing healthy boundaries, focusing on what is within one's control, "flipping the script" on harmful thought patterns, and building practical coping skills. She specializes in supporting individuals navigating anxiety and ADHD, guiding families through the emotional continuum of parenting—including infertility, perinatal, and postpartum experiences—and providing dedicated support to first responder families.
Elizabeth’s clinical foundation is backed by a strong academic background. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Purdue University in 2008 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College in 2026. Outside of her clinical work, Elizabeth treasures her time as a wife to her high school sweetheart and a mother to their three active children, finding her greatest joy in simply being with her family.
